Audi A5 TDIe

Audi have launched their TDIe engines into the A5 coupe and Sportback models making them more appealing and more frugal. Available in 136PS and 163PS versions the 2 litre TDIe engines are perfect for sprightly performance without sacrificing economy. The new "e" units compliment the current selection of TDI engines in the A5 Sportback range; including the 143PS and 177PS versions of the 2.0-litre engine plus the 3.0-litre V6 TDI in 204PS and 245PS forms, the latter linked to quattro all-wheel-drive without exception. The A5 Coupe is available with the 177PS 2.0-litre TDI and the two V6 TDIs along with the newly launched TDIe engines.
Launched in conjunction with the TDIe engines is a new trim level; SE Technik which is available for all A5 Sportback and Coupe four-cylinder TDI models. First seen in the A4 Saloon and Avant ranges the SE Technik trim adds DVD satellite navigation, Audi Music Interface (AMI) iPod connection, the Audi Parking Plus system with front and rear sensors as well as cruise control to the familiar SE equipment list.
Both new TDIe engines are also available allied to Standard, SE and S line trim in the A5 Sportback, and Standard and SE in the Coupe.
